  En descendant par l'escalier du deuxième au premier étage, la structure métallique apparaît, impressionnante, à la fois solide et aérienne. Explications intéressantes sur panorama au premier.

  When we went for a walk from our hotel, all we could see was the Eiffel Tower overlooking the gaps in the small streets. We knew that we would visit and climb the tower. The first day we were late as the Qeues were very long. So on the second day we went very early after petit dejenour, and were also kept waiting for 2 hours. Such is the popularity of this Eiffel Tower. We stopped at the first level and soon we decided to go straight to the very top. Mon Deiu, the escalator was very fast in it's climb to the absolute top of the tower. We stayed for most of the morning and took a great number of photographs which we are very happy with as we soon downloaded when we got home. I have recommended to my friends and family that this is a very special monument to be visited when in Paris. In fact the very first stop so that visitors can get that special 'feel' of Paris.

  The crouds pushing and shoving to get the great sights which is great as the enthiuasm is as good as being at a Manchester United football mathc.

  Ahhh.... cette bonne vieille Tour Eiffel. On a beau être parisien et passer devant tous les jours pour aller au travail, on ne se lasse pas de la voir s'élancer dans le ciel et se parer de mille couleur à chaque grande manifestation (comme en ce moment avec le Passage de la France à la présidence Européenne). A chaque fois que des amis viennent à Paris, un passage s'impose avec pour les plus courageux l'ascension à pieds s'il vous plait des centaines de marches qui nous feront passer du sol aux différentes plateformes. La vue y est imprenable, fantastique magique... en un mot UNIQUE ! Pour les plus prévoyant et les plus chanceux, un passage au restaurant le Jules Verne s'impose : nouveau cadre, nouvelle cuisine... bref, c'est MAGIQUE
